Carroll County Landscape was
honored to be the tow vehicle for the Libby
Museum 100 year anniversary float in this year's
Fourth of July parade. It was a great experience
and a lot of fun working with such a fantastic
group of volunteers from the Libby Museum.
We experimented
with a pink Korean Dogwood called Satomi last
fall and it came through the winter in perfect
health.
We will be using it more now that we
know that it is winter hardy in the Wolfeboro
area. I think you'll agree that it has a very
attractive flower.
Early this summer we became
involved in another local Wolfeboro beautification effort.
Carroll County Landscape, Inc. provided the design,
consulting and supervision of the perennial planting project
along Main Street in front of Rite Aid, Hunters IGA and the
Sunoco station. Town employees and volunteers made the
planting effort possible. In it's first summer the display
of flowers was impressive and received many compliments.
We're looking forward to next season. With a full year of
establishment behind it the display should be even more full
and attractive.
Once again we had a landscape that was on the
Hospice House Tour. We started work on this
landscape in early spring and had it ready for
the house tour by early July with a short break
in between for the remainder of the driveway to
be completed. We look forward to yet another one
of our landscapes on Springfield Point to be
part of next year's tour. The Hospice House Tour
and their many volunteers are to be commended
for all their time and effort. The generous
contribution of homeowners to allow their
properties to be viewed by so many is also
deserving of many thanks.
