At Carroll County Landscape, Inc. we place a great emphasis
on training and education.
Education is such a highly regarded value at CCL that we
have actively promoted it in our industry, not just to our
own employees. An example of this is CCL president David
Alessandroni’s past involvement with the New Hampshire
Landscape Association’s education committee and current
participation in the NHLA’s certification committee. In
fact David was a member of the original committee that
developed the exam study manual and was instrumental in the
formation of the certification program in New
Hampshire in 1999.
Owner, David Alessandroni has passed
the exam and been given the title of ‘Certified
Horticulturist’ from the Massachusetts Nursery and Landscape
Association. This title is maintained by acquiring
continuing education credits and participating in industry
related activities each year.
Landscape
designer David Alessandroni, gardening foreman and general
manager Jan Bicknell, installation foremen Tyrrell Nickerson
and Mike Novotny and grounds maintenance foreman Tim Ross
have been recognized by the New Hampshire Landscape
Association as ‘NH Certified Landscape Professionals’ after
passing the exam to attain this status.

maintain their titles with continuing education credits and

Our third installation foreman and winter shop foreman Tom
Brown has passed the written portion of the certification
exam and will be taking the plant I.D. portion of the exam
this fall to become the 6th certified landscape
professional on our staff. We congratulate the
accomplishments and the time our staff members have
dedicated to attaining this title and maintaining the high
level of training each year.

in horticulture at the University of Massachusetts Green
School.
David Alessandroni is licensed to apply pesticides in an
environmentally responsible manner in the state of NH.
David holds a Supervisory certification.
